Two of Fiji's major political parties have reportedly been banned from attending tomorrow's political forum.

The forum is to discuss a way forward for Fiji which includes the convening of the Presidential Forum in a couple of months.

Fiji Live reports the interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama, as saying the SDL and the National Federation party will not be invited to attend.

He says they will be sent letters to inform them that they will not be part of the meeting on Friday.

Meanwhile, three new political parties - the Green Party of Fiji, Coalition of Independent Nationals Party and Party of the Truth, which were recently registered, have all been invited to the dialogue.
