Samoa's Prime Minister has challenged Fiji's leader to explain what he meant when he accused Tuileapa Sailele Malielegaoi of being "un-Pacific"
Earlier Samoa's Prime Minister had questioned whether Commodore Bainimarama was sober when he claimed Apia's position on Fiji was dictated by New Zealand.
Last week, the Commodore responded by describing those comments as 'unprofessional' and 'un-pacific.'
Now Samoa's Prime Minister has said in his view Fiji's interim Prime Minister has shown little respect towards the Pacific leaders.
He cites as examples the Commodore going back on his personal undertaking given to leaders in Tonga that elections would be held this May and his "no-show" at Pacific leader's meetings in Niue and Papua New Guinea.
Tuileapa these actions could hardly be described as the 'Pacific Way'.
Samoa's Prime Minister said that nothing that has happened so far has changed his view that Commodore Bainimarama has no intention of holding elections and returning Fiji to democratic rule.
