The Fiji netballers are waiting on the New Zealand government on whether they can attend a pre World Youth tournament in Auckland next week.
A sporting sanction was placed on Fiji in 2007 which means sporting teams not covered by an International body like the IRB sevens wont be given a visa.
However, coach Melissa Walker whose from New Zealand says shes written to the Prime Minister John Key and the Immigration department asking for a ministerial exemption.
She says shes done everything she can to get the team to New Zealand and now its a waiting game.
"We've got our bags packed we're just waiting for New Zealand to comeback to give us the nod, the tour is very very important for our under 21's the opportunity to play South Africa and the Cook Islands its a tour we just cant miss."
The three day tournament starts next weekend.
