Samoa's prime minister, Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi, has criticised the Fiji's interim prime minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama, for not keeping his word and hold elections by March.

Tuilaepa says that following this week's Pacific Islands Forum special meeting PNG, there was consensus among Forum leaders to demand that elections be held.

He says the Fiji interim prime minister's stance is not doing justice to the people of Fiji.

"Fiji was one of the founding members during the time of Ratu Mara, a very respected leader and here we have another Fijian leader who is undoing everything that Ratu Mara stood for, he is not doing justice to the people of Fiji and the leadership of Fiji."
