The Honolulu-based Pacific Magazine has suspended all company operations as of the beginning of the year.
The magazine's correspondents throughout the region were informed in early December about the company's plans to suspend operations.
The magazine's publisher, Floyd Takeuchi says the global financial crisis has severely impacted Pacific Magazine's operations.
He says the magazine believes the regional market turmoil will continue, making it unfeasible to continue operations at the same level of quality.
Pacific Magazine has been a regional presence since 1976.
