Hawaiian Airlines to add a third daily flight between Honolulu and Las Vegas

In response to customer demand Hawaiian Airlines will add a third daily flight between Honolulu and Las Vegas on effective 23 February 2009.

The airline has also added extra flights over the Christmas period to cater for the increased load factors expected over the festive season.

The US Department of Transportation says Hawaiian Airlines will now have a 67 percent share of the market between Honolulu and Las Vegas.

Hawaiian Airlines operates flights to eight airports in the Hawaiian Islands, ten to mainland USA and internationally from Honolulu to Australia, Philippines, American Samoa and Tahiti.

The flights use Boeing 717 and 767 aircraft and the airline is taking delivery of the first of 15 Airbus' in early 2010.
