The Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation reports that the place give the airline the required capacity to cope with a jump in demand after the Christmas break.
Solomon Airlines says one of its three Twin Otter aircrafts will be undergoing major maintenance and the Dash-8 is intended to fill the gap.
