The New Zealand rugby league World Cup captain Nathan Cayless says the side didn't stick to the game plan which cost them their first game against Australia last night.
The Kangaroos demolished the Kiwis 30-6 in Sydney scoring five tries with Kiwi forward Sika Manu scoring their only try to close the gap to 8-6.
But the hosts hit back to to lead 14-6 at halftime.
Cayless says everything they wanted to do on the field went out the window.
