The sale of Star Kist Samoa to Dongwon Industries Co., Ltd has now been completed.

The divestiture, includes the sale of the Star Kist plants in American Samoa and Ecuador; and certain manufacturing assets associated with Star Kist seafood located in California and Ecuador.
All of Del Monte's direct plant personnel related to the seafood business joined Dongwon as a result of the divestiture.
The transaction also resulted in Del Monte transferring to Dongwon 33 salaried positions.
