Two months after the close of the 10th Festival of Pacific Arts, the organiziing committee in American Samoa has still not been able to pay all bills and close the festival books.

Co-chairman of the Arts Festival Board Fagafaga Daniel Langkilde has told a Senate hearing that the reason they can't close the books is that bills keep popping up everyday.

He told the hearing that according to the festival board's latest financial report, the total amount spent on the 8 day festival was four point million US dollars.

The committee is seeking 300 thousand dollars n supplementary funding from the territorial government.
