American Samoa's LBJ Medical Centre is now offering a special Child Programme which allows patients who are 19 years old and younger to be seen and treated in the outpatient clinic for a flat fee of $20.

The programme applies to both residents and non-residents.

It means that patients 19 and under will not pay more than 20 dollars, no matter

how many different types of services they require

Currently, patients seeking medical assistance at the Centre have to pay $10 to see a doctor, another $10 for each necessary lab test, and $10 for prescription medication.
