The Fijian nationalist party formed by supporters of George Speight's 2000 coup may be back soon minus its high profile members.
Fijilive reports that former members of the Conservative Alliance Matanitu Vanua have applied to re-register the party.
The party was disbanded when its former executives and MP's chose to join the ruling SDL ahead of the 2006 General Election.
However, party dissidents who opposed the move now want the party to contest the next poll.
Leading the bid to revive CAMV is Ropate Sivo, who also spearheaded the formation of a grouping of Independent nationalists to contest the last poll.
