1:07 pm on 25 August 2008

Air Fiji says it expects to resume its full service by tomorrow.

Yesterday, the airline cancelled its flights, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded.

Air Fiji has given no reason for the cancellations.

An Air Fiji spokesperson at Nadi airport says the airline expects to operate eight out of 20 flights today and hopes to offer its full services by tomorrow.

The spokesperson says it has rebooked all stranded passengers on flights with other airlines, mainly Pacific Sun.

He would not say how many people had to rebooked.
