The Oceania Football Confederation General Secretary, Tai Nicholas is confident a transit visa through New Zealand will be granted to Fiji's under 12 football team.

There were reports earlier that the visa had not been granted which is in line with New Zealand's sanctions against Fiji's sporting bodies.

However, Nicholas says he wrote to New Zealand's Foreign Affairs Minister, Winston Peters yesterday with details on the group of under 12's who are the OFC champions on their way to France to join 40 other countries for the Danone nations tournament.
