A tourist found dead in a Suva apartment last night has been identified as a 46-year-old man from Rotorua, in New Zealand.
Fijilive quotes police as saying he entered Fiji at the end of last month on a tourist visa and checked in at the Suva apartment last Friday.
Employees of the apartment felt suspicious when he did not respond to their call yesterday.
When they checked the room they found him dead in the shower and alerted police.
A statement from police said there were no signs of injuries or struggle where the body was found but they haven't ruled out foul play.
The post mortem examination will be held after the deceased's next of kin are informed about the death.
