The Niue Govt proposes to introduce a tobacco control bill to Parliament next month.
The Bill will ban smoking in all public places and worksplaces, government
departments and tourism accomodation properties.
The Bill contains a provision allowing village councils to ban smoking within their villages and to ban the sale of tobacco in villages.
