The South Pacific Express Incorporated resumed its inter Samoa flights yesterday after its aircraft was grounded due to a mechanical problem on June 25.
The airline decided to carry out a Federal Aviation Administration mandated maintenance check of its aircraft, which was due at the end of this month at the same time.
For three and a half weeks, Polynesian Airlines has been the sole carrier operating flights between the two Samoas.
