Samoan rugby star apologises to the women of his country

Manu Samoa rugby legend, Brian Lima, has made a public apology to his wife and all the women of his country after an assault charge against him was withdrawn

Lima was named in the 30 strong Manu Samoa squad to notch up a record fifth Rugby World Cup campaign.

The rugby star popularly known as "the Chiropractor" appeared on local television and apologised for what he did and stressed that he wants to be a role model in eliminating all kinds of physical abuse against women.

Lima has been a feature of the Samoan side at wing or centre for 17 years, playing 63 Tests.
