A chief justice in Samoa has sentenced a former senior accounts clerk for Polynesian airlines to four and a half years jail, after he was convicted of fraud and theft.
Onosa'i Ofoia was found guilty of 95 counts of theft and 65 counts of fraud and stole more than 85,000 US Dollars from the airline.
The offences took place between December 1998 and January 2003.
