The Ministry of Civil Aviation in Tonga has given Arlines Tonga the green light to resume air services between Tongatapu and 'Eua.
The Director of Civil Aviation, Viliami Ma'ake told Radio Tonga, this week's test flight went smoothly.
Mr Ma'ake says it's now up to the airline to give them their schedule and inform them of when they will start flying to 'Eua.
Stafooti 'Aho from Teta Tours and Airlines Tonga says they are hopeful the service will start next week.
