The Solomon Islands health minister, Benjamin Una has been asked to resign.
The Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation reports Prime Minister Kemakeza has made the request in a letter to Mr Una.
The health minister has been accused of stealing money that was supposed to have been granted to a development project in his constituency.
