Fiji's National Federation Party says only a multi-party cabinet can put a stop to corruption in the government amounting to tens of millions of dollars as highlighted in the auditor general's report.

Radio Fiji reports that the NFP's new president, Raman Pratap Singh, says corruption will not stop until Indo-Fijians and minority parties are included in the government.

Mr Singh says massive corruption is prevalent when only one race dominates the government.

He says in a multi-party government where all the groups are represented, the chances of corruption are minimised because the representatives of the minority parties will be there raising their concerns inside the cabinet.
