In Tonga, by-elections have been held for two nobles who have been made ministers.
The Honourable 'Ahome'e and the Honourable Lasike were chosen to represent Tongatapu and 'Eua respectively in the assembly.
The two replace the Honourable Tu'ivakanoo and the Honourable Nuku.
Radio Tonga says some of the nobles cast their votes from overseas.
Meanwhile, the by-election for two people's representatives of Tongatapu and Niuafo'ou/Niuatoputapu will be held in two days.
