The Tokelau affairs manager says a ship is expected to arrive in the atolls this morning with materials to help the long-term recovery after Cyclone Percy hit.

Falani Aukuso says the MV Tokelau is following behind the Samoa Express, bringing aid from Apia.

Mr Aukuso explains what's on today's second shipment.

"There is a shortage of diesel on the three atolls for the generators, and also timber and normal stores going up."
