Solomons PM receives report on intervention

9:04 am on 13 November 2004

The Solomon Islands Intervention Task Force has handed over the one-year report on RAMSI's first year of operations in the country to the Prime Minister Sir Allen Kemakeza.

The review is one of government's obligations under the Enabling Act which requires that the mission's activities are reviewed after every year.

The Prime Minister in response thanked the Intervention Task Force for its efforts in compiling the report.

Sir Allen will present the report to cabinet next week, before it goes before parliament later this month.

The report includes contributions from all sectors of the country.
