In Niue, Lady Patricia Tagaloa Rex, died early this morning.
Lady Rex was the wife of the country's first elected Premier, Sir Robert Rex, who served as leader from 1974 until 1992.
A memorial service is to be held for Lady Rex in the Auckland suburb of Otara this evening.
