A criminal gang dressed in police uniforms is robbing businesses in the Papua New Guinea capital of Port Moresby.
The Post Courier reports that several stores in Waigani and Gerehu have been robbed by the gang, including the Port Moresby Golf Club.
Four men dressed as policemen walked into the club at the weekend and said they had arrested a suspect and needed to use the phone to call for help.
The club manager, Roger Wilson, says an M16 gun and a knife were used in the robbery.
