Fiji troops on United Nations peacekeeping duties in East Timor have captured two militia guerillas after a fierce gun battle.
One of the guerrilas was shot in the hip and is now hospitalised while the other is under arrest at an Australian army base.
A report from East Timor says tension has been high since a militia group opened fire at a minibus earlier this week killing one person and injuring five.
A Fiji army spokesman says Fiji troops were still in the jungle last night pursuing the guerillas.
