Consent to emails

By completing the registration survey and confirming your email address you are consenting to regular emails containing research invitation or other information relevant to RNZ Have Your Say, including prize draws. 

Opting out

You are able to opt out from RNZ Have Your Say at any time by emailing us at haveyoursay@rnz.co.nz and including the words ‘opt out’ in the subject line. All emails or survey invitations you receive from RNZ Have Your Say will also include an 'opt out' option.

Privacy 

We respect your need for privacy so we won’t share any of your personal information with third parties and while we may share your responses with third parties, you will not be identified as the individual who gave those responses unless we have specific permission from you to do so. 

We sometimes use trusted third-party services, like Microsoft 365 and Amazon Web Services, to help us store and manage personal information. This means some data might be held on servers outside New Zealand.

All research results will be aggregated for reporting. RNZ may share the aggregated research results with external parties. “Aggregated” means the information about you and your responses are anonymised and combined with other information so that it no longer identifies you.
