Hamilton-based composer Janet Jennings is well known for her music for voices.
Her music has been described as "filled with wit, humour and intelligence", and her compositional philosophy is that music should be both performable and listenable.
Last year, Atoll Records released a CD of her music called Voices of Women. And now there's a brand new release: Voices of Men.
Janet Jennings spoke with Upbeat about the album, in which she's set to music a carefully selected range of poetry by men that reflects the experiences of men, and New Zealand men in particular.
