The Laptop Ensemble

This week we’re exploring a newer musical medium, that of the laptop! We wanted to find out what exactly groups named PLOrk, or, Benoit and the Mandelbrots could possibly have to offer. The answer surprised us. We discovered improvisation, live coding, and even orchestral collaboration. Listen in to hear the varied and enjoyable timbres these groups have to offer. (WFMT)
