Cantabrian, John YOUNG is Professor of Composition at the Music, Technology and Innovation Research Centre of De Montfort University in Leicester. He visited Sound Lounge to talk about life in the East Midlands, his work with his students and his own compositions, especially his Lamentations a work that provokes questioning of present-day international military intervention, particularly by Western powers.
