This is a live audio recording of the From Scratch 50th Anniversary Concert, presented by Chamber Music New Zealand in September 2025. The event celebrated New Zealand’s oldest and most avant-garde chamber music ensemble, documenting their milestone performance.
The concert recording is structured in two parts. The first section includes performances synced to films, specifically Black Moon by Teresa Peters and Metroplex by Gregory Bennett. The second half features a complete performance of Phil Dadson's 1989 composition, "Song for Unsung Heroes", transcribed by Shane Currey.
