'Marimba Spiritual' is one of the most widely performed pieces for marimba.
Written for solo marimba accompanied by traditional Japanese instruments, it’s composition is a response to the starvation and famine happening in Africa during the 1980's.
The work has two distinct sections: a static requiem followed by a lively resurrection.
