Written as a musical response to the second station, 'Jesus Receives the Cross', at a 'Stations of the Cross' arts project mounted by St Heliers Presbyterian Church in 2008.
It sets the words “Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children” and is built on chords from JS Bach’s St Matthew Passion.
