Th first half sequence begins in the Garden of Gethsemene and takes us through the events of Holy Week.

BACH: Sinfonia; Adagio, from Easter Oratorio;

Behold the lamb of God; He was despised; Surely he hath borne our griefs; And with his stripes we are healed; All we like sheep have gone astray;

This second half sequence deals with the crucifixion and the resurrection.
