The Monteverdi Choir and English Baroque Soloists will perform psalm settings by JS Bach’s predecessor Heinrich Schütz, as well as Lutheran cantatas from Bach himself. John Eliot Gardiner (author of the book Music in the Castle of Heaven about his love of Bach’s music) is at the helm.
