Deutsche Welle Festival: Sabine Meyer & Schubert's Octet
8.00 Deutsche Welle Festival: Sabine Meyer & Schubert's Octet
The Quatuor Ébène, one of the world's most renowned string quartets, had to abort its plans to take all of Beethoven's quartets on world tour, but did make a stop in Schwetzingen. The Quatuor Modigliani, a string quartet from France, plays works by Stravinsky and Debussy. And clarinettist Sabine Meyer and Friends are on hand with Schubert's great Octet.
