Deutsche Welle Festival: Night Music
8.00 Deutsche Welle Festival: Night Music
Nighttime is a time of dreams and fantasies. Nighttime has always inspired musicians like Antonio Vivaldi. And Vivaldi is the centerpiece of this concert at the Beethovenfest dreamed up and performed by recorder player Dorothee Oberlinger. Revolving around Vivaldi is a colorful kaleidoscope of night music: stories of cradle songs, ghosts, birds of the night and the holiest of all nights.
Dorothee Oberlinger (recorder), Elisabetta de Mircovich (soprano, fidel), Giancarlo Rado (guitar), Sonatori de la Gioiosa Marca/Reinhard Goebel
Recorded in the Grand Hotel on Petersberg Mountain, Bonn (Deutsche Welle)
