Music Director Giordano Bellincampi is on the podium for this concert.

As well as the Bruch concerto, we have Richard Strauss's dense and intense Metamorphosen for 23 strings to begin and the second half takes us to the Rhine Valley with Robert Schumann's Symphony No. 3, known as the 'Rhenish'.

Programme:

Richard STRAUSS: Metamorphosen

Max BRUCH: Violin Concerto No 1 in G minor

Robert SCHUMANN: Symphony No 3 in Eb Op 97, Rhenish
