Strawberry Balsamic Jam
- 1 kg strawberries, washed, tops removed
- 900 gms sugar
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Place the strawberries and sugar in a non-reactive saucepan. Stir to combine, then cover and stand for a few hours.
Add the lemon juice and balsamic vinegar and bring to the boil. Boil for 15 to 20 minutes until setting point is reached.
Allow to stand for 10 minutes and pour into sterilised jars.
