Bircher Muesli

Ingredients
- 100 g (3½ oz) rolled oats
 - 250 ml (8 fl oz) milk
 - 125 ml (4 fl oz) plain, unsweetened yogurt
 - 2 teaspoons liquid honey
 - 2 apples
 - extra fresh fruit, such as strawberries, banana, kiwi fruit, blueberries, chopped if large (optional)
 - 3 tablespoons chopped nuts, such as almonds, hazelnuts or macadamia nuts (optional)
 
Equipment
- kitchen scales and measures
 - 1 medium bowl
 - 1 teaspoon
 - 1 vegetable peeler
 - 1 vegetable knife
 - 1 grater
 
Method
- Measure the rolled oats into the bowl.
 - Add the milk and the yogurt to the rolled oats, then mix them together.
 - Drizzle the honey over the mixture and stir in.
 - Peel the apples, cut into quarters, cut out the cores, then coarsely grate.
 - Add the grated apple to the rolled oats mixture. This is the basic muesli recipe.
 - If you like, stir in the fresh fruits and nuts.
 - Serve.
