Big Giant Choc Chip Cookies

11:30 am on 29 September 2014

Ingredients

  • 135g butter
  • 1 and a 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 and a 1/2 cups all purpose flour (plain flour or basic flour)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • chocolate chips (you can also make the cookies but with fruit and nut... like peanuts and raisins if you'd like to mix it up)

Method

Pre-heat oven to 190 degrees celcius.

In a bowl, cream together the butter and the sugar with a beater, then incorporate the eggs slowly until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.

In another bowl, sift together the flour, cinnamon, salt and baking soda. Combine with the sugar/butter mixture, then stir in the chocolate chips.

The dough will be quite lumpy. Roll them into balls (as big as you like) and flatten them into circles onto baking paper. Bake for about 15 minutes until they are lightly browned. Leave them to cool & then devour.
