The head of the Security Intelligence Service has apologised for her agency releasing incomplete, inaccurate and misleading information that embarrassed the Labour Party leader in an election year. Rebecca Kitteridge took over from Warren Tucker who as director of the SIS made the releases to a blogger, amid controversy three years ago about what then Labour leader Phil Goff knew about Israeli spies.
