The Fiji government has extended the state of natural disaster declared after last month's floods for 10 more days.
Fiji's FBC News reports the extension is due to the extensive damage and flooding in the western division and will facilitate relief and assistance work.
The state of natural disaster was first declared on 25 January for 15 days.
A family of four died in a house hit by a landslide in the Ba district. A man also died in Ba as a result of the floods, and another in Lambasa.
