Shooter Maria Tutaia will play in the Silver Ferns second match at the world netball champs in Singapore tonight, despite coming off injured in the side's opening win against Fiji last night.
Tutaia suffered a foot injury and was replaced by Anna Thompson, in what coach Ruth Aitken says was a precautionary move.
The injury wasn't serious and medical staff have cleared Tutaia to play tonight against Wales, although she may not start, with Aitken indicating she wants to give all of her 12 strong squad court time during the pool matches.
New Zealand beat Fiji 80-25 and the scoreline against Wales is likely to be similar.
The match starts at 7.30pm.
