The New Zealand women cricketers are one nil up in their home twenty Series against Australia after following up their back to back wins in Hobart with a 59 run victory in the curtain raiser in Wellington.
The White Ferns made made 132 for 7 -- Suzy Bates top-scoring with 48 -- then dismissed Australia in the 16th over.
Bates says the win feels especially good after they lost the one day Rose Bowl Series in Australia 5-0.
