The All Blacks first five-eighth, Dan Carter, says he's ready to play for the Crusaders' in their Super Rugby match against the Hurricanes in Wellington this week after returning from a six month sabbatical.
Carter's last top flight match was for the All Blacks in November but he has played two game for his club Southbridge recently.
However the 100-test veteran is making sacrifices to make sure he's at his best on his return, having given up alcohol for the past two months.
He says it'll be up to the coaches as to whether he starts or comes off the bench in his Super Rugby return.
