The Warriors centre Konrad Hurrell has been dropped from the Auckland league club's team to play the St George-Illawarra Dragons on Saturday.
Hurrell's already missed the first two games of the season after arriving for the pre-season overweight.
Acting coach Andrew McFadden says Hurrell needs to work on his defensive issues in the reserve grade.
Jayson Bukuya will return from a foot injury that kept him out of the loss to the Bulldogs to replace Ben Matulino in the back row, who's out for two weeks after taking the early guilty plea for a shoulder charge.
Ben Henry has come back from a knee injury quicker than expected and will come off the interchange bench, with Sebastine Ikahihifo out after suffering a head knock.
