The New Zealand women's cricket team has beaten India by 17 runs in their first warmup match ahead of the T20 World Cup in Bangladesh.
The White Ferns scored 138 for 8 with Katie Perkins top scoring with 40, while Sara McGlashan made 34.
They then restricted India to 121 for 8 with Morna Nielsen picking up 3 wickets and Frances Mckay and Hayley Jenson two each.
The White Ferns play England in their next warmup match on Friday with their World Cup opener against Australia on Sunday.
Meanwhile the New Zealand men play Australia in a warmup match tonight.
